Look at each work of art for at least 10 minutes, and jot down what you see. Be precise. Make a sketch of the artwork to better understand and remember it
Why did you choose these two works? Briefly describe each work: what is similar in terms of their formal and stylistic attributes? What is different about their formal and stylistic attributes? What is similar about the content and meaning of the two works? What is dissimilar about the content and meaning of the two works? What materials is the artist using in each work, and how is the use of materials similar or different from each other?
Additionally, tell us in a few sentences why each artist is important art historically.
