You want to write about the history/usage of this particular drum. what are you arguing? What’s the point that you’re trying to make? you will have to have a clearly defined argument by the time your outline is due… you should have a set of academic sources that you intent to use in
order to make your argument. Prepare a reference list and a 2-3 page outline of your paper.
The outline should consist of a breakdown of your paper’s argument, including a thesis
statement, the evidence you will use to support your position, and what conclusions you
intend to draw.
